MARGAUX - THE CREATOR
I have always been attracted to creative activities. When I was little, I could spend hours drawing, painting... I even took drawing lessons for years, this need to create has always been with me.
My first contact with jewelry design was when I was a child, thanks to my mother . She made jewelry out of polymer clay, and I sometimes helped her. What fascinated me the most were her "canes": complex patterns made by superimposing different layers of colors, which she then reduced to obtain small, precise and unique patterns.
So it was quite natural that I turned to polymer clay when I wanted to take up a manual activity again.
THE NEED TO CREATE
Later, I took another direction. I studied cinema and then digital.
But over time, I started to feel a void. I spent my days in front of screens, and one day, I got fed up. I needed to disconnect and find a manual activity.
One day, I bought some paint, some canvases, then some polymer clay. And then, everything came back. The joy of creating, of testing, of expressing myself in a way other than through a keyboard. It was like finding a part of myself that I had put aside.
FROM PASSION TO E-SHOP
At first, I was experimenting: colors, shapes, textures. I tried to make canes like my mom, but it wasn't really what I wanted.
Then I started to create simpler jewelry, with a touch of softness , it spoke to me right away. The JUDY , my bird earrings, were born like that, and they were an immediate success.
Having worked in digital and even for a jewelry brand, I knew how to create a site, manage social networks... In short, I had the tools to get started. So I decided to transform this passion into a project , and that's how ATELIER MARLY was born.

Today, we create each piece of jewelry with care in our workshop in the North of France. Each piece reflects our desire to offer jewelry that is both simple and unique.
